The BIG question...

One beautiful, sunny morning in California we were getting ready to go to the beach. Derek and I were scrambling around the room gathering our beach loot and Grace slips Derek this note...

Yes...she popped the big question on us!!!  On vacation!  When our brains are off and we aren't prepared!!!        

In case you can't read it very well it says, "Bolth of you have a mom & and dad.  But wher do babies come frome?"

Derek said,  "From mommy."

We looked at each other and had to hold in the giggles.  Wasn't expecting that, especially at 8am!

That answer was good enough for Grace.  "Oh," she said, and kept right on playing.  

I thought it was very nice of her to write it out in a neat little letter.  I also thought it was funny that she handed it to her dad and not me.  Guess I better gear up for more of these kinds of questions.  Wow!  Kids grow up fast these days.
