Nothing creepier than a huge beetle trying to get into your house late at night... I think there is a chance my mouse friend was running away from this guy when he fell in the window well last week! This is a potato bug. I have never seen one here before, but apparently they are native to the Rocky Mountains. I made Derek take a picture and them shew him away from the house. Hopefully he won't be back and hopefully he doesn't have any friends! I love fall, but not sure I can take all the creatures lurking about, looking for a warm place to come in for the winter!

Another intruder?
Nothing creepier than a huge beetle trying to get into your house late at night... I think there is a chance my mouse friend was running away from this guy when he fell in the window well last week!
